Boot Problem

Hallo Liste,

ich habe ein merkwürdiges Phänomen. Ich habe in meinem System
einen SCSI Adapter und 2 SCSI Platten sowie 2 IDE Platten

/dev/da1s1a on / (ufs, NFS exported, local, soft-updates)
/dev/da1s1e on /usr (ufs, local, soft-updates)
procfs on /proc (procfs, local)
/dev/ad1s1e on /mnt/wd (ufs, local, soft-updates)
/dev/ad0s1e on /mnt/sa (ufs, local, soft-updates)
linprocfs on /usr/compat/linux/proc (linprocfs, local)
localhost:/var/tmp on /crypt (nfs)

Die Platte da1 hat die ID 6 und die da0 hat die ID 0

Wenn ich jetzt die Platte da0 ausbaue und ich das System neu
booten möchte wird ganz normal der kernel geladen aber das
mounten der root Partition schlägt fehl.

Das ist auch insofern logisch da in der /etc/fstab

/dev/da1s1b none swap sw 0
     0
/dev/da1s1a / ufs rw 1
     1
/dev/da1s1e /usr ufs rw 2
     2

steht.

Wenn ich nun die ATLAS IV oder auch da0 ausbaue wird die
bisherige da1 zu da0.

Ich habe nun versucht die root Partition manuell anzugeben:

ufs:/dev/da0s1a

Aber als Fehler bekomme ich dann:

Mount Root Failed: 6

Ich bin jetzt mit meinem Latein am Ende. Vielleicht hat jemand
eine Idee.
