PHP kompiliert nicht mit SSL

Hi,

ich wollte jetzt gerade squirrelmail ausprobieren, aber da brauche ich
ja SSL-Unterstützung, damit ich auf den imap-uw connecten kann.

Allerdings, wenn ich versuche php4 oder php5 mit ssl zu kompilieren,
bekomme ich immer wieder diese Fehlermeldung:

checking for OpenSSL support... yes
checking for pkg-config... /usr/local/bin/pkg-config
configure: error: Cannot find OpenSSL's <evp.h>
===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly.
Please report the problem to sysadmin(at)alexdupre.com [maintainer] and attach
the "/usr/ports/www/mod_php5/work/php-5.0.0a6/config.log" including the output
of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to provide
an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. an ls /var/db/pkg).

Hm, die Datei evp.h existiert in den foldenden Verzeichnissen:
/usr/include/openssl/evp.h
/usr/obj/usr/src/i386/usr/include/openssl/evp.h
/usr/obj/usr/src/secure/lib/libcrypto/evp.h
/usr/src/crypto/openssl/crypto/evp/evp.h
/usr/src/sys/boot/efi/include/efidevp.h

Jetzt habe ich die Variable OPENSSLBASE mal auf /usr/include/openssl/
gestellt, aber das bringt leider auch keine Besserung.

Hat hier jemand einen Tip, wie ich das zum laufen bekomme?
