Erlauchte Liste,

ich habe in RELEASE-5.1 aus den ports GNOME2 installiert.
Die $HOMES sind via nfs von einem linux-kernel-server
(2.4.21) gemounted. Beim starten einer gnome-session
erscheint folgendes popup:

Please contact your system administrator to resolve
the following problem:

Could not lock the file
"/home/users/riesebie/.gconf-test-locking-file"; this
indicates that there may be a problem with your
operating system configuration. If you have an
NFS-mounted home directory, either the client or the
server may be set up incorrectly. See the rpc.statd
and rpc.lockd documentation. A common cause of this
error is that the "nfslock" service has been
disabled. The error was "Operation not supported"
(errno = 45).

Wenn ich den rpc.lockd mit FreeBSD starte, kann ich als
user kein xfce4 oder kde starten, was sonst einwandrei
funktioniert. Hat jemand 'nen Tip für mich?

Ciao
