flock|fcntl und mutt

Hallo Liste,

gestern habe ich meine erste FreeBSD Box (RELEASE-5.1) aufgesetzt.
Mit Hilfe des sehr ausführlichen handbook klappte das auch ganz
wunderbar ;-) Die Home-Verzeichnisse (und somit auch $HOME/Mail)
werden via nfs von einem Debian-Server gemounted. Wenn ich nun mutt
aufrufe kommt die Fehlermeldung:
flock: Operation not supported (errno = 45)
compiliert mit --enable-fcntl
fcntl: Operation not supported (errno = 45)
Dies geschieht nicht von anderen Linux Büchsen die $HOME auf die
selbe Art und Weise mounten.
Auf der FreeBSD Maschine läuft rpcbind. Ein manuelles starten von
rpc.statd brachte keine Abhilfe.
Auf dem Server ist lockd im Kernel, rpc.statd und rpc.mountd laufen.

Hat jemand `nen Tip für mich?
