schg flag geht beim kopieren verloren

Beim Kopieren eines Verzeichnisbaums geht das schg flag verloren.

Ich habe folgendes versucht:
(cd somedir; star -c H=exustar -xfflags .) | ( cd tgtdir; star -xp -xfflags )

Trotz format H=exustar und -xfflags geht's nicht. Was mache ich falsch?
