Ist in meinem Fileserver genauso, und funktioniert einwand-
frei. Das ist halt ein altes Pentium-Board mit PIIX-ATA-
Controller, der weder schnell noch sonst irgendwie toll
ist, daher habe ich da einen Promise TX2 UDMA133 reinge-
steckt, an dem die Bootplatte hängt, und die wird dann na-
türlich ad4 (statische Numerierung).

An den Onboard-Controller habe ich einen CD-Brenner und
einen IDE-Wechselrahmen (fürs Backup) gehängt, aber das
hat das BIOS nicht zu interessieren (die sind im BIOS über-
haupt nicht eingetragen, damit das gar nicht erst zu Ver-
wirrungen beim Booten führen kann).
