Richtig (hätte ich hinzuschreiben sollen). Ist aber auch
kein Fehler, das zu tun, wenngleich ich keine unmittelbare
Notwendigkeit dafür sehe.

Hmm. Das würde ich dann aber als Bug in mutt ansehen.
