Hallo,

kann mir bitte jemand mit einem Problem mit meiner
Wireless Lan Card helfen?
Die bekommt keine IP4 IP Adresse. Ist eine Netgear M401
und wird sauber erkannt (mit GENERIC).

Auszug aus dmesg:
pccard: card inserted, slot 0
wi0 at port 0x240-0x27f irq 11 slot 0 on pccard0
wi0: 802.11 address: 00:09:5b:32:f2:06
wi0: using RF:PRISM2.5 MAC:ISL3873
wi0: Intersil Firmware: Primary 1.00.07, Station 1.03.06

Via rc.conf bekommt Sie folgendes mit:
ifconfig_wi0="inet 192.168.0.8 netmask 255.255.255.0"
defaultrouter="192.168.0.1"
hostname="devil.local.net"

DHCP klappt auch nicht, schon versucht.
Ein "ifconfig wi0 down" und "up" von Hand "ifconfig wi0 inet 192.168.0.8
 netmask 255.255.255.0 ssid brocks" geht auch nicht.

Hier der Auszug aus ifconfig
%ifconfig wi0
wi0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        inet6 fe80::209:5bff:fe32:f206%wi0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x6
        ether 00:09:5b:32:f2:06
        media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect (DS/11Mbps)
        status: associated
        ssid brocks 1:""
        stationname "FreeBSD WaveLAN/IEEE node"
        channel 3 authmode OPEN powersavemode OFF powersavesleep 100
        wepmode OFF weptxkey 1

Die Karte sieht definitiv den Access Point,
hat ja seine MAC Adresse
