Ich hoffe, Dir ist klar, daß dann auch _jeder_ andere loka-
le User auf Dein X zugreifen kann? Inklusive Mitlauschen
von Tastendrücken, wenn Du gerade ein Paßwort eingibst ...

Die saubere Lösung ist selbstverständlich, xauth zu verwen-
den. Es könnte auch genügen, wenn Du in der root-Shell
einfach $XAUTHORITY auf Dein User-~/.Xauthority zeigen
läßt.

Aber xhost gehört verboten, IMO.
