Umzug von IDE zu SCSI

Hallo,

ich möchte mein System von einer IDE Festplatte auf eine SCSI Festplatte
(Mylex Raidcontroller mit 2 HD's gespiegelt) umziehen. Laut der
Hardwareliste wird der Controler unterstützt. Wird der erkannt wenn ich den
einfach einbaue?
Wie gehe ich am besten vor ?
