FAT Formatierung

nochmals vielen Dank für die Hilfe bei der Installation meines MO
Laufwerkes. Das Gerät läuft perfekt. Ich habe es sogar geschafft, ein
Medium im dedicated Modus zu formatieren. Folge Prozedur verwendete ich
dafür:

xb# disklabel /dev/da1 | disklabel -R -r da1 /dev/stdin
xb# newfs /dev/da1c

 32, 163872, 327712, 491552, 655392, 819232, 983072, 1146912, 1310752, 1474592,
 638432, 1802272, 1966112, 2129952, 2293792
xb# mount /dev/da1c /mnt

Ist die Formatierung so in Ordnung? Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die 1448
nicht allocierten sectoren zu verwenden? Wie formatiere ich das Medium
mit einem FAT Dateisystem für den Datenaustausch?
