Soundblaster 16 non-PnP macht Zicken

Habe hier gerade die Maschine von meiner Schwester unter den Fingern.



Hardware:


MSI-ATX-Mainboard mit iVX Chipset, 64 MB EDO


i233MMX


IDE-Platte und CDROM


S3-Virge



Creative Labs SB 16, non-Pnp, Software-konfigurierbar.



Das Mainboard bietet leider keine Möglichkeit, PnP mainboardseitig


auszuschalten, dh. PNP OS: yes/no erscheint nicht.


wenn PNPBIOS in den Kernel kompiliert wird, erscheinen da auch so


diverse error messages.



Der aktuelle Kernel ist ohne PNPBIOS kompiliert, unten die Settings im


Makefile und der dmesg-Ausschnitt.



Gibt es da noch Hoffnung, oder sollte ich da besser bedenkenlos eine


SB16/32 PnP bzw 128 PCI reinstecken?
