Die netmask sollte 0xffffffff sein, da dieser Rechner bereits ein
Interface in diesem Netz hat (siehe auch
  http://www.de.freebsd.org/FAQ/networking.html#AEN3324
)

Als user gehts, als root aber nicht? Sehr seltsam. Was meint
tcpdump dazu?
