Make installworld schlägt nach update fehl

Hallo,
ich habe ein recht wiederliches Problem: ich habe mir per cvsup mein
3.1-RELEASE endlich auf 3.3-STABLE upgedated. Nach dem k(r)ampf mit isdn4bsd
(oh, hoffentlich kommt bald ein relese mit eigenem spppcontrol...), lief das
make buildworld ohne murren durch, nur das installworld bricht folgendermassen
ab:

das ist echt suboptimal. das system läuft zwar noch, ist aber irgendwie schon
nicht ganz in ordung. ein kernel, der neu erzeugt wurde, bricht schon am
bootloader mir einem readin-error ab, mein 3.1-kernel läuft aber noch.
nun ist dieser abbruch alles andere als gesprächig.... am festplattenplatz oder
so sollte es nicht liegen. ein 3.1-make-world ist vor ein paar wochen noch
problemlos durchgekommen.
