KDE

hi
in order to run KDE version Beta 3 on FreeBSD 2.2.6 the following
packages already recorded
as installed from CD
- kde-3.1b.tgz
- kdebase-3.1b.tgz
- kdegames-3.1b.tgz
- kdelibs-3.1b.tgz
- kdenetwork-3.1b.tgz
- kdesupport-3.1b.tgz
- kirc-0.9.3.tgz
- ktamaga-0.2.tgz
and QT

when i start up the KDE, got the error messages
"could not load icon /kde1.xpm, /kde2.xpm,
/kde3.xpm,/kde4.xpm,/kde5.xpm,/kde6.xpm
  /kde7.xpm, /kde8.xpm, /kde9.xpm" after that ui got KDE start up
screen but without having
 any icons .... BAD :-(

the system could not find the icons..... i looked in
~/.kde/share/icons/ nothing inside......
what could be wrong? where can i find the icons? ....or what shall i
do??
