$ uname -r

$ dmesg | grep pcm
pcm0: <Creative EMU10K1> port 0xb800-0xb81f irq 11 at device 12.0 on pci0

works fine with "device pcm" in your kernel config but you have to
upgrade to (at least) 4.1-RELEASE.
