Merkwürdigkeiten beim make

Moin,
damit ich den FAQ bauen kann, muß ich entweder
a) die Datei in das Framework kopieren oder
b) DOC_PREFIX=/usr/doc und LANGCODE=de_DE.ISO_8859-1 setzen

DOC_PREFIX verstehe ich ja noch, aber LANGCODE nicht. Ist da evtl. ein
Tritt vor irgendein Makefile fällig?
