Änderungen am Firewire Code?

Hi,

haben die Kernel Jungs am Firewire Code was geändert? Meine externe 1TB
Firewire Festplatte wird nicht mehr erkannt. Es ist eine WD MyBook. Mit
USB läuft sie aber kommt auf max. 7-8MB Durchsatz. Folgendes steht
in /var/log/messages:

Die Version ist ein FREEBSD_8 Stable. Ich hatte eine aktuelle Stable Version vor
1 Monat ausgecheckt. Woran kann ich den Zeitpunkt sehen?
