Es gibt da auch noch andere Problemstellen.
Selbst mit offenen Standard geht das absolut nicht.
USB ist ein single-Master Bus.
In einer heilen Welt gibt es den Host als Master und der Rest sind
Slaves.
Wenn nun eine Kamera direkt mit einem Drucker verbunden wird, dann
funktioniert das eigentlich nicht.
Dafür gibt es USB-on-the-go, im Prinzip nichts weiter als ein Port
mit Master und Slave Fähigkeiten, genauer beides an einer Buchse.
An einem PC spielt so ein Teil dann brav den Slave und ansonsten nimmt
es schon mal die Master Rolle ein.
Laut dem Wikipedia-Artikel hat der Drucker offensichtlich sogar einen
extra A-Port, also komplett getrennt und damit ist der Drucker auch
garantiert Master, also mit dem Protokoll auch garantiert nicht vom PC
aus ansprechbar, der selber auch nur Master spielen kann.
