cups problem mit samsung ml-2250

Hi,

kämpfe hier gerade mit meinem samsung ml-2250 und cups unter freebsd
6.1-release.

Ich habe cups nach folgender Anleitung installiert:

ein 'echo hallo > /dev/lpt0' druckt auch eine Seite, daher ist der
Rechner richtig an den Parallelport angeschlossen und die Übertragung
funktioniert.

Wenn ich jetzt über das Webinterface den Testdruck machen will
(Drucker ist schon konfigutiert, die entsprechende ppd gabs auf der
beiligenden CD), passiert garnix.

In der /usr/local/etc/cups/cupsd.conf hab ich den LogLevel auf debug
eingestellt und das log am ende der mail gepostet.

Interessant ist die Zeile:

Der Filter ppmtospl2 hatte vorher gefehlt. Den konnte ich auf den
beiliegenden CD finden. War zwar für Linux gedacht, aber probieren geht
über studieren - und ich hab ihn an nach
/usr/local/libexec/cups/filter/ppmtospl2 kopiert.

Da er jetzt trotzdem nicht funktioniert, denke ich das ich noch die
linuxkompatibilität einstellen muss. Ich bin mir aber nicht sicher
ob ich diese einfach aktivieren muss und gut ist, oder ob ich dann auch
cups unter der linuxkompatibilität konfiguriren muss. Und wenn wie ?
