Derselbe (obsolete) Hinweis steht allerdings auch in der
NULLFS-Manpage.

Sowohl NULLFS als auch UNIONFS haben noch so ihre Ecken
und Kanten. Auch NULLFS hat noch bekannte Bugs. Wenn
man unbedingte Stabilität braucht (weil man z.B. beliebige
User auf das System loslässt), sollte man ihn beiden Fällen
Alternativen wählen, z.B. NFS-Loopback-Mounts anstelle von
NULLFS, und union-Flag-Mounts (siehe "-o union" in der
mount(8)-Manpage)) anstelle von UNIONFS. Ist natürlich
leider nicht immer machbar.

Es ist allerdings tatsächlich so, daß zur Zeit NULLFS sta-
biler ist als UNIONFS.

In der Tat (nach meiner Einschätzung mindestens ebenso sta-
bil wie NULLFS). Es wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den
FreeSBIE-Leuten entwickelt, die auf ihrer Live-CD intensiv
Gebrauch von UNIONFS machen.

Soviel ich weiß, wird das neue UNIONFS kurzfristig in HEAD
committet und vermutlich relativ rasch nach RELENG_6 MFCt.

"python" is more likely to pass unharmed through your spelling
checker than "perl".
