passwd & syslogd

Moin,

Ich habe gesucht (google, Bücher, man-pages) und probiert, aber ich
finde keine Antwort. Deshalb möchte ich Euch um den ein oder anderen
Hinweis bitten.

Ist das richtig, dass unter FreeBSD 4.10 eine Paßwortänderung mit
passwd per Default nicht in "/var/log/auth.log" mitgelogged wird?

Wenn ich in der syslog.conf nun folgendes

# uncomment this to enable logging of all log messages to /var/log/all.log
# touch /var/log/all.log and chmod it to mode 600 before it will work
#*.* /var/log/all.log

auskommentiere, etc, dann findet sich erwartungsgemäß ein Eintrag in
der Log-Datei:

Oct 11 12:38:45 host passwd: user xyz changed their local password

Ich habe nun versucht die richtige facility herauszufinden und
vermutet(e), dass es sich um "auth" oder "authpriv" handeln müßte.
Fehlanzeige! Weiß jemand, welche facility in der syslog.conf angeben
muß, damit Paßwortänderungen mitgelogged werden? Wie kann ich das
herausfinden?
