make.conf austauschen

Tag,

ist es möglich, per Kommandozeile ein andere Datei "make.conf" zu
verwenden?

Im Moment tausche ich mehrere Versionen aus, finde das aber nicht sehr
elegant und sicher für Skripte, die Fehlerbehandlung wird unnötig
aufgebläht.
