top coredump auf amd64

moin,
auf einer amd64 maschine mit 5.2.1-RELEASE-p9 coredumpte eben top mit
einer Floating point exception.
egal ob in einem jail oder auf dem host.

in /var/log/messaged erscheint bei jedem versuch:
pid 30715 (top), uid 0: exited on signal 8 (core dumped)

strace kann ich auf amd64 leider nicht bauen.

nach einem reboot läuft wieder alles problemlos.

hab't ihr ne idee wieso? bzw. wonach ich schauen könnte?
