Frank meint vermutlich IEEE P802.3af DTE Power via MDI,
im Volksmund häufig PoL (Power over LAN) oder PoE (Power
over Ethernet) genannt.

BTW, ein solches Endgerät darf maximal 12,95 Watt ziehen.
