Wenn Du's unbedingt zu brauchen glaubst, dann ja. Aber
da bist Du offenbar der einzige, sonst wär's schon in der
Ports-Collection.

Auweia, für sowas gibt's doch sed (oder awk etc.).
grep hat ohnehin bereits viel zu viele überflüssige
Optionen (IMO).
