Problem mit USB2 und ehci Treiber

Servus Liste,

ich hab hier eine externe Festplatte mit USB 2 und einem Cypress
Semiconductors Chip drin. Als ich die Option

device ehci

in den Kernel einkompiliert hab, hat er das Ding auch als USB2 Device
erkannt. Nur sagt er mir, dass er es als Generic erkennt! Muss ich noch
irgendwo eine Konfiguration ändern?

Das ist mal ein Teilausdruck:

Wenn ich jetzt mit dem Gerät arbeite, kommt auf meiner Console Timing Fehler, und etwas wird resettet! Leider kann ich den Fehler gerade nicht reproduzieren :-(
