Hallo,
mir sind heute 2 Mylex zugeflogen die sich beim booten als IBM Controller
entpuppen:
IBM RAID Adapter BIOS Version 1.29 - 21 Dec 95
Drive in channel 2 bay 1 does not respond
RAID Firmware 2.43
Installation stopped
Press any kex to continue
So, nun habe ich mir gedacht "schoen und gut, neue RAID config basteln".
Von ICP Controllern kenne ich eine Menuegesteuerte Konfiguration...
Scheint der Mylex wohl nicht zu haben?
Wie kann ich da jetzt ein RAID-1 bestehend aus 2 Platten konfigurieren?
Bzw. fals noetig, kann ich dort einfach eine Mylex-Firmware rueberknallen?
Weiss leider nicht, was IBM da rumgefummelt hat. (FRU Nummer ist 06H5078)
Unter FreeBSD schaut es leider nicht so toll aus:
