Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber kann es sein, daß Du für die
Authentifizierung gegen die PAM immer Saslauthd nutzen solltest? Das
funktioniert bei mir ohne Probleme.

Findest Du in den Ports: /usr/ports/security/cyrus-sasl2-saslauthd

pwcheck_method: saslauthd

> auto_transition: yes
> mech_list: plain login
