Among the new features of UFS2:

* The inode has been expanded to 256 bytes to make space for 64-bit
block pointers.

* A file-creation time field has been added.

  total attribute size stored on an inode to be up to twice the filesystem
  block size. This storage is used for Access Control Lists and MAC
  labels, but may also be used by other system extensions and user
  applications.

b) lohnt sich USF2 gegenüber USF1?

Entscheide selbst, ob Du die Features brauchst.

Und bedenke vielleicht, dass UFS2 sicher die Zukunft gehoert.

Und falls Du GRUB verwendest, schau mal nach, ob da inzwischen UFS2
unterstuetzt wird. Ansonsten muss '/' UFS 1 bleiben.

c) falls b ja, wie mache ich aus USF1 ein USF2-Filesystem?

Daten sichern und newfs. Soweit ich weiss, gibt es kein Konversionstool.
