usb -> serial

hallo!

ich hab mir ums teuere geld für meinen laptop ein usb -> serial kabel
gekauft und weiß jetzt nicht welches device in ansprechen muß. scheint
keine anleitung zu geben.

könnte mir jemand kurz erklären wie das geht.
