Fatal trap 12 mit ICP Vortex

Hi,

ich möchte gerne ein FreeBSD 4.8 auf einem Rechner mit einem ICP Vortex
RAID-Controller installieren.
Allerdings bekomme ich immer einen "Fatal trap 12"-Fehler.

Die Hardware sieht wie folgt aus:

Mainboard: Asus P2B-D
CPU: 2 x Intel PentiumIII 500MHz
Controller: ICP-Vortex GDT6558RD
Firmware: 2.22.10-R01F

BIOS ist ebenfalls auf dem letzten Stand.

Was bisher probiert wurde, aber zu keinem Erfolg führte:

- Jumper S4 am GDT gezogen (laut Hotline/FAQ)
- DPM-Mapping auf "do not move" gestellt (laut Hotline/FAQ)
- Booten von FreeBSD 5.1 (gleicher Fehler)
- Nachladen der Orginal-Treiber von ICP (icp.ko/iir.ko)

Wird der ICP-Vortex abgezogen, bootet FreeBSD ohne Fehler.

Vielleicht könnt Ihr mir helfen.
