# cd /usr/src/release
# make release CHROOTDIR=/hier/hin BUILDNAME=2.1.7-RELEASE \
CVSROOT=... RELEASETAG=RELENG_2_1_7_RELEASE

CVSROOT halt entsprechend anpassen.
