ein onstream bandlaufwerk will nicht wie ich will.

mit dmesg kommt: ast0: TAPE <OnStream DI-30> at ata1-slave PIO4

root(at)bsd:~ > mt -f /dev/ast0 status

wenn ich ein backup machen will kommt:
root(at)bsd:~ > tar -cvf /dev/ast0 /home

eigentlich hab ich unter linux noch nie da viel machen müssen.
hat wer eine idee was da los ist?

wenn ich mich danach beim kernel erkundige dann schreibt er:
ast0: transfers must be multiple of 32768

keine ahnung????

And root said rm -rf /     ......and there was nothing
