DEC DEFPA == 3C795?

Hallo,

ich stelle gerade fest, das meine vermeintliche DEC DEFPA

fpa0: <Digital DEFPA PCI FDDI Controller> port 0xd800-0xd87f mem
      0xe5800000-0xe580ffff,0xe6000000-0xe600007f irq 12 at device 11.0 on
      pci0
fpa0: DEC DEFPA PCI FDDI SAS Controller

fpa0: FDDI Port = S (PMD = ANSI Multi-Mode)
fpa0: driver is using old-style compatibility shims

eine 3Com 795 zu sein scheint. zumindest hab ich auf einem Chip einen
Aufkleber mit der S/N und der Bezeichnung 3C795 "entdeckt". Sind die
Karten denn baugleich? Kann ich mir eigentlich nicht vorstellen...
