cardbus + freebsd 4.4, unterstuetzt?

Hallo,

gerade versuche ich eine modem/isdn/ethernet-Kombikarte von xircom
mit FreeBSD zum laufen zu bekommen, Typ:

RealPort
CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56

dmesg meldet folgendes beim einschieben:
pcic0: Card type 32-bit cardbus is unsupported

In alten postings heisst es, dass Cardbus erst ab 5.0 unterstützt werden
soll. Interpretiere ich die Meldung richtig, und gibt es wirklich keine
Möglichkeit, vorher die Karte zum Laufen zu bekommen?
