Upgrade FreeBSD 4.4 -> 4.5 ata-problem

Hi!

Mit FreeBSD 4.5 schaltet der ata-Treiber in den PIO-mode zurück. Das war
bei 4.4 nicht der Fall. Außerdem viel mir auf, daß bei 4.5 ein bug
beseitigt wird...? (weiter unten)

den ich bei Version 4.4 nicht habe (hab ich nun wieder testweise
installiert)

das ist bei 4.4 nicht der Fall.

Die Platte ist eine

ad0: 38182MB <MAXTOR 4K040H2> [77578/16/63] at ata0-master UDMA100

Ich meine ich kann mit sysctl -w hw.atamodes=dma,---,pio,--- wieder
hochschalten. Ich habe anschließend mal ein paar Dateien hin und her
kopiert - keine Fehlermeldungen.

Aber woher weiß ich, ob ich dann im ATA 5 bzw 100 mode bin?

Bzw. hat jemand ne Ahnung was man in so einem Fall tut oder weiß sonst
etwas dazu?
