Ich halte es eher für eine ganz schlechte Idee, das CD-ROM-
Laufwerk an den gleichen Channel zu klemmen wie die Platte,
denn ersteres kann vermutlich kein UDMA33. D.h. entweder
zieht das CD-ROM-Laufwerk den Bus auf PIO runter (und macht
damit auch die Platte langsamer), oder es funktioniert ein-
fach nicht.

Letzteres scheint bei Dir der Fall zu sein. Kann natürlich
auch ganz was anderes sein. Bei IDE kann man ja nie wissen.
