»TOFU« (ist 'ne Abkürzung). Du hast völlig recht; das ist
viel sinnloser als TEXT+HTML in einer E-Mail.

Das ist aber 'ne Milchmädchenrechnung. Du betreibst ja
sicherlich keine High-Traffic-Mailingliste auf einem Ser-
ver, der hinter einer ISDN-Leitung steht.
