XFree86 4.1

Hallo Leute;
Ich habe einen Athlon-Rechner mit einer ELSA Gladiac MX.
Free BSD 4.2 ist neu aufgepielt (minimal).
Xfree86 4.1.0 ist aus dem Internet gezogen und installiert.

Danach Aufruf von xf86config und Konfigurieren vom ganzen.

ein >>startx<< bringt folgende Fehlermeldung (aus

Der XFree-Server kann also nicht auf den IO-Bereich zugreifen, ja?
Soll ich jetzt ein chmod auf /dev/io anwenden?
