Wie genau hast Du cvsup installiert? Jedenfalls nicht per
/usr/ports/net/cvsup-bin (bzw. das entsprechende Package),
denn dann hättest Du ein statisches Binary.

$ ldd /usr/local/bin/cvsup
ldd: /usr/local/bin/cvsup: not a dynamic executable

(Die libXaw gehört zu XFree86 und wird verwendet, wenn das
GUI von cvsup verwendet wird. Dies ist der Fall, wenn die
$DISPLAY-Variable gesetzt ist und man nicht die Option -g
angegeben hat. John Polstra selbst beschreibt das cvsup-
GUI wie folgt: »Despite its relative uselessness, the GUI
is fun to watch.«)
