Netzwerk im Jail

Ich habe mir ein jail nach der Anleitung in der manpage installiert.
Ich kann die Umgebung benutzen, allerdings funktioniert dort der
Netzwerkteil nicht:

Host-System:
$ ifconfig rl0 | grep "inet "
        inet 10.1.1.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.1.1.255
        inet 10.1.1.254 netmask 0xffffffff broadcast 10.1.1.254

10.1.1.1 ist das Host-System und die .254 das Jail-System.

Im Jail:
$ ifconfig rl0 |grep inet
        inet 10.1.1.254 netmask 0xffffffff broadcast 10.1.1.254

$ ping 10.1.1.254
ping: socket: Operation not permitted

Was fehlt in meiner Umgebung ?
