Es gibt da ein Dokument namens "new-users" von Annelise
Anderson; es beginnt mit folgendem Abstrakt:

   Congratulations on installing FreeBSD! This introduction
   is for people new to both FreeBSD and Un*x--so it starts
   with basics. It assumes you're using version 2.0.5 or
   later of FreeBSD as distributed by Walnut Creek or
   FreeBSD.org, your system (for now) has a single user
   (you)--and you're probably pretty good with DOS/Windows
   or OS/2.

Klingt so, als wenn es in die Richtung geht, was Du suchst.
Wenn Du "doc" vollständig installiert hast, findest Du es
unter /usr/share/doc/en/articles/new-users. Außerdem ist
es auf der ersten CD der Lehmanns-Edition (Version egal)
unter /DOKU/new-users als HTML und als normale Textdatei.

Ich hatte übrigens in Erwägung gezogen, es für die Leh-
manns-Edition zu übersetzen, ist aber bisher aus Zeitmangel
leider nicht geschehen.
