Hallo Liste,
leider schaff ich es noch immer nicht meinen Rechner als Gateway ins
Internet einzurichten. Ich habe jetzt 3 Varianten ausprobiert und es
klappt immer noch nicht. Hier mal die Varianten im einzelnen:
FreeBSD 4.2 von Lehmanns

Die Karte scheint ordnungsgemaess installiert zu sein. Hier die
dmesg:

Nun Version 1 der rc.conf:

# -- sysinstall generated deltas -- #
sshd_enable="YES"
inetd_enable="YES"
ifconfig_xl0="inet 192.168.0.30 netmask 255.255.255.0"
sendmail_enable="NO"
router_flags="-s"
router="routed"
router_enable="YES"
gateway_enable="YES"
portmap_enable="YES"
tcp_extensions="YES"
hostname="hjs-intern.de"
isdn_enable="YES"
network_interfaces="xl0"
ifconfig_isp0="inet 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.1 link1"
sppp_interfaces="isp0"
spppconfig_isp0="myauthname=meinekennung901105#0001 myauthproto=pap
myauthsecret=00000"
defaultrouter="0.0.0.1"
keymap="german.iso"

bei dieser Version kann ich zwar booten, aber die Tasten funzen dann
nicht mehr. Es hilft nur noch ein Reset.
Das Ding bleibt immer bei der Meldung "Recovering vieditor sessions"
haengen. Was kann das nur sein???????????
Deaktiviere ich die Eintraege "sppp_interfaces" und "spppconig_isp0"
dan geht ganz normal.

Version 2 rc.conf:

# -- sysinstall generated deltas -- #
sshd_enable="YES"
inetd_enable="YES"
ifconfig_xl0="inet 192.168.0.30 netmask 255.255.255.0"
sendmail_enable="NO"
router_flags="-s"
router="routed"
router_enable="YES"
gateway_enable="YES"
portmap_enable="YES"
tcp_extensions="YES"
hostname="hjs-intern.de"
network_interfaces="xl0 isp0"
ifconfig_isp0="inet 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.1 link1"
sppp_interfaces="isp0"
defaultrouter="0.0.0.1"
keymap="german.iso"

und die rc.local:

echo -n 'Configuring ISPPP to T-Offline:'
echo -n ' spppcontrol';
spppcontrol isp0 myauthname="sieheunten" myauthproto=pap \
  myauthsecret="passwort"
echo -n ' up';
ifconfig isp0 up
echo '.'

Diese Version scheint noch am besten zu funzen. Mit "netstat -rn"
sieht man folgenden Eintrag:

Destination: default
Gateway: 0.0.0.1
Flags UGSc
Refs: 3
Use: 8
Netif: isp0

jedoch kommen dann Fehlermeldungen wie "routed [73]: static route
0.0.0.0 --> 0.0.0.1 immpossibly lacks ifp"
Was kann denn das noch sein?

Version 3 rc.conf:

# -- sysinstall generated deltas -- #
sshd_enable="YES"
inetd_enable="YES"
ifconfig_xl0="inet 192.168.0.30 netmask 255.255.255.0"
sendmail_enable="NO"
router_flags="-s"
router="routed"
router_enable="YES"
gateway_enable="YES"
portmap_enable="YES"
tcp_extensions="YES"
hostname="hjs-intern.de"
network_interfaces="xl0 isp0"
keymap="german.iso"

Dann starte ich die ganze Prozedur mit folgendem Script:

#!/bin/sh

#--------------------------------------
# ppp example setup
# last edit-date: [Wed Feb 24 15:53:49 1999]
#--------------------------------------

echo "configuring I4BISDN/PPP-interface isp0:"

echo "--------------------"
echo ""
echo "removing previous configuration"
ifconfig isp0 delete -link1 down
echo ""
echo "setting PPP options"
spppcontrol isp0 myauthproto=chap
spppcontrol isp0 myauthname=00065340378208331901105#0001
spppcontrol isp0 myauthsecret=03042286
echo ""
echo "configuring IP src/dst address, netmask and link flags"
ifconfig isp0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 link1
echo ""
echo "finished"

Da kommt dann immer die Meldung "Isp0 has a bad adress"
Immer noch ein Problem mit dem routing?
Was muss ich denn sonst noch so haben damit das ganze funzt?

So ich weiss jetzt nicht mehr weiter. Bin mit meinem Latein am Ende.
Kann mir vielleicht irgend jemand weiterhelfen?
Vielen Dank schon mal und sorry wegen dem langen Posting.

Hans-Juergen
