Das klingt schonmal gut.

Gib dem ssh doch mal die Option "-v" und sag uns, was das
ausgibt. Oder vielleicht gibt die Ausgabe Dir ja schon
selbst den entscheidenden Tip. ;-)

So sollte das im Normalfall auch gehen. Hast Du in der
sshd_config möglw. RSA-Authentication ausgeschaltet?
