People who either

1. use Microsoft without adequate protection
2. don't make backups

have only themselves to blame. It doesn't have to be a "virus", a
simple hardware failure can have the same effect.

This discussion relates to bugs in a proprietary operating system. It
doesn't belong on a FreeBSD list.
