Email von nobody

Moin,

hier läuft ein Webserver als "nobody". Nobody ist als
/nonexistent in der passwd vermerkt. Ich habe jetzt
versucht, mit Hilfe der PHP Funktion "mail" eine Email zu
versenden. Das schlägt leider fehl und in der maillog
erscheint nur:

Jun 18 15:15:10 xb sendmail[68347]: PAA68347: from=nobody,
size=220, class=0, pri=220, nrcpts=0,
msgid=<200006181315.PAA68347(at)xb.mteege.de>,
relay=nobody(at)localhost

Die Nachricht wird nicht zugestellt. Ist es so, daß nobody
in dieser Konfiguration keine Email versenden kann oder
ist das ein sendmail oder php Konfigurationsproblem?
