hmm, bei mir steht unter /usr/ports/sysutils/cdrecord/pkg/DESCR:

It should run also on:
        All SCSI-3/mmc compliant drives
        All ATAPI/mmc compliant drives

Von daher würde ich einfach mal sagen, einen Versuch ist es wert. Evtl.
steht im -questions Archiv ja auch schon was.

Unter 4.0 wird es definitiv gehen, da rauschte letztens noch ein Bugfix
für "schwachbrüstige" Brenner durch.
