fetchmail (sendmail?)

Hi!
Ich habe hier ein Problem mit fetchmail (oder sendmail).
Nach dem Aufruf von fetchmail kommt folgende Meldung:

fetchmail: 2 messages at hillerbq(at)sunu450.rz.ruhr-uni-bochum.de.
reading message 1 (2986 bytes) .fetchmail: SMTP connect to localhost
failed: Unknown error: -1
fetchmail: SMTP transaction error while fetching from
mailhost.rz.ruhr-uni-bochum.de: Unknown error: -1

telnet localhost 25 funktioniert .

Kann mir jemand sagen, was ich da falsch mache?
Bin dankbar fuer jeden Hinweis!

Ps.: Gibt es eigentlich einen qmail-port oder laeuft
qmail auch ohne besondere Anpassungen?
