Did you use floppies/boot.flp or floppies/newer/boot.flp? This was
fixed after 2.2.2 was released and the floppy install image updated.

Yeah, I know - it's still half finished and I haven't checked it into
the source tree yet. :) I'm late on this one, sorry.

cp /usr/src/etc/login.conf /etc

will fix this. This is also documented in 2.2.2-RELEASE/ERRATA.TXT
(which I just noticed was on the CDROM but not on wcarchive - whoops!
Fixed).
